no more phone configuration madness

As of 11:00am this morning, my obsession with making my new phone do everything I could imagine has come to completion. While I can't wait for Android to be available on a good network and handset, I'm extremely content with the HTC Touch Pro on Sprint for now. It took me about 3 solid days to get the phone configured and find all the software I wanted. You can read more about that process here. My total cost ended up being 420.00 (239.99 for the phone + 180.00 for all of the additional software). Of all the functionality, my favorites are: automatic upload and geotagging of photos and video to flickr & youtube, ability to turn phone into a wireless access point, ability to show my current location and trips on the blog, and full slideout keyboard for writing posts like this. Oh, and it works pretty well as a phone too =)
