We're finally settled in here, it's pretty much everything we wanted. It's an old building with all the quirky charm that comes with it, a bit worn (so we don't have to tip-toe around like the last place), within walking distance of Cheeseman park and numerous restaurants and amenities.
On a side note, we just got our own internet connection here (and thus the new blog as well). I've never had a very fast connection at home, but now we're using Qwest's Platinum service. They advertise 7mbps, but I was skeptical. After installation it was only averaging 1mbps. I called tech support, and was directed to remove the 'filters' that came with the modem and the connection speed jumped to a solid 5-6mbps. Not 7, but faster than I've ever had before!
